ISLAND POOLS & SPAS, INC. Receives the Bronze award in the APSP International Awards of Excellence Competition

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 11, 2009 -- Las Vegas, NV. – Island Pools & Spas, Inc. won the prestigious Bronze Award in the Pool with Vanishing Edge 601 sq. ft. or more category during the 2009 Association of Pool & Spa Professionals’ International Awards of Excellence ceremony held Nov. 16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Edgartown -based company received the Bronze Award for its installation in Edgartown, MA. In addition to the Award of Excellence, this pool has also been featured in impressive editorial selections nationwide due to its unique design, and the craftsmanship behind the construction.

More than 400 pool, spa and hot tub projects were entered in the 2009 Awards of Excellence competition.

The Awards of Excellence, presented annually, recognize and reward the most beautiful and creative pools, spas and hot tubs across the United States and around the world. Competition is open to APSP member builders, designers and service and retail firms.
