"Isola" iPhone Adventure Game Series begins on May 23, 2010, with a free demo app!

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 2, 2010 -- Soon to be available for iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac, and PC, the "Isola" series of games will offer stunning graphics and animation, beautiful art, and effective storytelling and puzzle design, at prices of under a dollar per game.

The series will begin with the demo of "Isola: Prologue" - due May 23rd - and the full release of that game on June 1st, 2010,
followed by a demo of the second episode, "Isola: Revelations" on July 1st, and the full second episode on Sept. 1st, 2010.

Already, over 3000 people have visited the official website for the game, www.isolaiphone.com, and interest is continuing to build over time, as new screenshots and new details emerge, including (most recently) precise release dates.

The game will debut on the official website, as well as on the Apple App Store, but buyers from the official site will be able to get discounts on the games - the first episode will be available there for only 49 cents, a nonstandard price for an iPhone game.

The series is the creation of indie artist Matthew Lyles Hornbostel, who has spent hundreds of hours modelling and texturing the worlds of Isola in an attempt to create a game which raises the bar for game graphics on the iPhone. The primary location in the series - the island itself - consists of over 45 million polygons of geometry, and while it seems synthetic at high resolution, on an iPhone screen it looks almost photoreal.
