(Free-Press-Release.com) November 18, 2011 -- Amanda first ventured into children's clothing was back in the early 90's, through a Prince's Youth Business Trust loan. Fast-forward 16 years and she is at it again! Less than 2 years ago following a Psychology BSc Amanda launched Isossy Children and has not looked back since. The concept for Isossy Children is using African and Asian textile influences to create a designer, contemporary collection for girls.

What makes Isossy Children unique?

The concept behind Isossy Children is quite unique. We draw our influence from African and Asian cultural textiles and create contemporary western designs that are for all to love and wear.
We live cross-culturally in many ways so isossy Children is really about breaking down cultural barriers and creating a line that all children can wear.

How does running business fit around family life?
Family and business are synonymous for me. i grew-up in family business, I’ve worked in my family business for many years now so with the creation of Isossy Children, it's just an extension of both.
For instance, we just did a Business Expo in NYC and we all went over. Elijah celebrated his 18th birthday over there as most of my family is there too.

My fiance and sister are by my side and I have a lot of support.

What plans have you for the future?
For the immediate, we are improving our website. We just did our 'Soft launch' in NYC, so that opens things up globally for us. Continue building brand awareness, create jobs and grow globally.
