It’s Time to Stand Up to the Bullies

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 18, 2011 -- Wyoming, Montana -- More and more children are being bullied in school, and it’s time to teach those children how to stand up and say “we’re not going to take it anymore.” Author Kelsey McDonnell leads the battle with her illustrated children’s book, What Do You Do? When a Bully is after You, and she’s going to present the prize package to the child with the loudest voice.

Ms. McDonnell, in cooperation with her publisher, Vinspire Publishing, is asking all Montana and Wyoming school children between the ages of five and eight to tell her what they think they should say or do if a bully comes after them. Each child who speaks up is entered to win a signed copy of Ms. McDonnell’s book, a gift card to Target.com, a signed and framed illustrator print, an award certificate, and Pugsly the Pug Dog beanie baby. The author will also visit the winner’s school to present the prizes to the winner and read an excerpt from the book and provide information for his/her classmates.

Vinspire Publishing will also provide a copy of What Do You Do? When a Bully is After You to the school’s library.
