IT Works Department Manager Version 16.1.1 Available

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 11, 2010 -- IT Works is pleased to announce that version 16.1.1 of Department Manager is now available for download at http://www.itworks-inc.com/customerlogin.asp

Enhancements and changes made in this version can be found on the website under the Customer section labeled Release Notes. If the changes listed are applicable to the module or modules that you are running, please upgrade as soon as possible. Also, it has been a while since you have upgraded, please note that the upgrade is cumulative and that all previous changes will be included in most current release. Additionally, if you have the Online Module you will need to upgrade that application on the web server so that the versions are the same.

This release does contain a couple of reports and modifications to existing reports that have been requested by clients. If you have requested one of these reports, make sure to get the new version downloaded to begin making use of the new reports. The Accounting Module now has the Attach Document feature added to the Transaction screen so that you can attach relevant Purchase Orders or Invoices. Also, there was a change to the security setting in the account module that will allow you authorize a user to run projections, but not actually load them in to the system. Finally, we were able to correct a couple of minor problems that were noticed by our users. If you have the need for a customized report or notice a problem with the operation of the software, please let us know so that we can address it in a future upgrade.
