A charity suit drive where you can donate a suit and enjoy an afternoon of fun!

JACK FM RADIO MOBILE DJ AT LCPC “SUIT YOURSELF!”
La Cañada Flintridge, CA, May 4, 2011 - La Cañada Presbyterian Church is thrilled announce charity suit drive “Suit Yourself Day” on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. “Suit Yourself Day,” sponsored by La Cañada Presbyterian Church and non-profit organization Clothes the Deal, is a unique event where anyone can donate a suit and in turn enjoy an afternoon of fun.
93.1 JACK FM Mobile DJ will be playing pop favorites. Clean Street Food Truck, known for “Upscale Food at Pedestrian Prices,” will be at the event serving delicious lunches for as low as $6.00. Clean Street Food Chef Jack Harding makes specialties such as Thai chicken, Black Angus Sliders, Spicy Fried Chicken breast, Marinated Tri Tip Steak and Grilled Pork. They even have a vegan dish.
With a casual, festival-like atmosphere, there will be free give aways, including free Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt for the first 100 suit donators, free ESPN Zone game cards for the first 50 suit donators, free Starbucks iced coffees and free desserts courtesy of DISH Restaurant.
The day will be capped off with a program, emceed by comedian and juggler Ron Pearson. LCPC will be raffling off a free iPad2, a portrait sitting at PrintEfex, free workouts from TAIX Workout Studio and dinner for two from DISH Restaurant. ABC7 Eyewitness News Weatherman Dallas Raines will be on hand donating a suit for the good cause.“Suit Yourself Day” will be held at La Cañada Presbyterian Church, 626 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada, CA 91011, on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Donations can include men's and women's suits, dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, belts, ties, shoes and slacks. Donators will receive donation receipts. For information, please go to www.lacanadapc.org, search for “Suit Yourself” on Facebook!
