Jack Lantz Band Performs Valentine’s Concert in La Cañada

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 11, 2011 -- La Cañada Flintridge, CA, February 11, 2011 – LCPC Ovations announced today a Valentine’s concert by the sixteen-piece Jack Lantz band, featuring the most favorite love songs of the past century.

Included will be music of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George & Ira Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and many others. Among the favorites will be “When I Fall in Love,” “Our Love Is Here to Stay,” “A Prelude to a Kiss,” “Time After Time,” “Makin’ Whoopee,” “’S Wonderful,” “You’re Nobody ‘til Somebody Loves You,” “’On the Sunny Side of the Street,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” “Misty,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” My Funny Valentine” and many more.

“The concert is a great way to celebrate one day early before the huge restaurant crowds on Valentine’s Day. Grab your sweetheart and come listen to some of the most romantic music you’re ever heard,” said band leader Jack Lantz.

Jack Lantz has conducted, written for, and performed throughout the U.S. and in Asia, including having directed the first off-Broad way run of the musical “Grease.” Lantz has also played jazz piano in Japan, Korea, Thailand and other Asian locations and tuba in the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus Band. The Jack Lantz band plays throughout Southern California. Band members have recorded with such greats at Tommy Dorsey, Harry James and more.
