Jain University launches International Institute of Aerospace Engineering and Management on 25th September 2011

Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Republic of (Free-Press-Release.com) October 3, 2011 -- International Institute of Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM ) is an innovative venture by Jain University with the support from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL), Airlines and many aerospace private industries, and instituted by Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI).

Based on the recommendation of the National Advisory Committee consisting of Dr. K. Kasturirangan, Former Chairman, ISRO and Member Planning Commission, Dr.C.G.Krishnadas Nair, President, SIATI & Former Chairman, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Dr.G.Madhavan Nair, former Chairman, ISRO, Air Marshal (Retd.) Master, Chairman - HAL and CEO - BIAL, Director - NAL representatives from Air India, Airports Authority of India and DRDO, Airlines, IIAEM aims to establish world class institute and to provide globally relevant education, training and research and to support growth of technology and business in the field of Aerospace Engineering and Management.

IIAEM will offer diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes like PhD in Aerospace Engineering, M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering (Aerodynamics / Aerospace Structures / Manufacturing & Management, Avionics), M.Tech. in Airport Infrastructure Design & Construction Management, MS (Engineering) for working professionals, MBA in Aviation Business Management, B.E. in Aerospace Engineering & PG Diploma in Air Traffic Control and Management in addition to short certificate programmes.
