You can also train yourself without any special training program but you will perhaps use more effort than is required, you may not run the race to the best of your abilities. Here are some basic guidelines to help you out.

Commitment from yourself
You will need to follow a 12 weeks training program. That means running on days when you don’t have sufficient time. The one thing that will keep going you through is you level of commitment towards your goal of completing the half marathon. When you tired while training just remind yourself why you are doing it. Getting Started

Initially make a realistic finish time for your experience and ability. Completing your first attempt within 2 hour will be quite good and will bring confidence. Hard Day / Easy Day
This is the basic thing of many athletic training programs. A hard training means fast workout should always be followed by a rest day or a short run at an easy pace. This gives some time to recover your body before the next hard day.

Track Your Improvement
It is another important aspect of your training where you need to know how are you doing compare to the plan. Track your miles to observe how closely you are following the training program.

Eat Healthy

As a trainee, your diet is very necessary while the training program, particularly when you determine to win something like a half marathon. You need a healthy diet of:
• Proteins to build and repair muscle
• Carbohydrates for energy
• Fat for stored energy
Many trainees avoid the importance of the healthy diet and as a result they feel tired at the time of race and lose it. So, the diet is very necessary with your training program so that you could win the race without any problem. It will be a great event to celebrate your Rajasthan Tourism while participating in this national level event.
