Jan Goldman of Kitchen Elements is selected as a Showplace Cabinetry Panel Expert
Jan Goldman, owner of Kitchen Elements in Olney, Maryland, is serving as a Showplace Cabinetry panel expert.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 25, 2011 --
Jan Goldman, owner of Kitchen Elements, has been selected as a panel expert by Showplace Cabinetry, a manufacturer who provides one of the cabinet lines she offers to her clients.
She became a candidate for the panel when a field representative with whom she works, suggested her name to Showplace and was chosen based on his recommendation and her qualifications.
Through their discussions and brainstorming sessions, the newly-formed panel of industry experts will assist Showplace in coming up with contemporary door styles for their product lines. Showplace is developing this business segment to appeal to buyers who favor contemporary door styles over traditional fashions. The national panel meets virtually by computer with a mission of gathering and offering their input and ideas to the company.
“I’m thrilled to participate in this focus group and assist an employee-owned cabinet company. Showplace is an excellent company to represent and I’m happy to give back to them. Also, as a small business owner, it’s wonderful to participate in a group with other dealers throughout the country as we share and learn what influences our respective businesses and to be a part of the bigger picture,” remarks Jan Goldman.
About Jan Goldman: Jan Goldman, owner of Kitchen Elements, works with clients in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia region as a kitchen architect, bath designer, space planner and project manager.
As a kitchen architect, clients benefit from the blend of Jan’s sense of design, knowledge of structure, skill for architectural millwork details and adherence to organization, along with her perception of color, texture and materials. Similarly, as a bath designer, clients rely on Jan’s guidance through design concepts, construction documentation and project installation using careful education and explanation. Also, as a space planner and project manager, clients gain from Jan’s years of experience in creating and maintaining flow, organization, scheduling and immediate on site decision-making.
Jan holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Beloit College. She’s an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the Real Estate Investment Services Group (REIS).
About Showplace Cabinetry: In just a very few years, Showplace has gone from a small start-up to a major national brand, proving that many customers enjoy Showplace’s mix of products, flexibility and price.
Showplace began with the idea to “create a cabinetry brand that makes sense.” In 1999, a small group of experienced cabinetry professionals gathered together, headed by Tony Bour, a well-known name in the cabinet industry. The group shared a vision for a brand that offered the most-wanted features by the most people. This vision also included creating important differentiators from other brands, including modifications that are comprehensive and affordable, specialty style and finish options and product offerings that are complete, yet not overly complex or weighed down with many restrictions and limitations.
