January 2012 sees the launch of revolutionary online estate agent concept

Myroost.co.uk, based in Devon but trading online, is the latest to launch their online estate agent business, removing the % commission fee structure that traditional estate agents are still charging, on average 1.5%, which is a huge £3900 based on a house sale value of £260,000.

Richard Fuller, Director, comments “With around 90% of property searchers looking online for their next purchase, it seems only natural to move with the times. Until now, people have had to shave thousands of pounds off their equity to receive a service that can be offered for just a few hundred pounds”.

Myroost.co.uk’s staff have extensive experience as Estate Agents in the South West region and will be offering a range of options to suit all budgets. There will be no sole agency agreement.

Richard adds “These low fees are achieved by removing unnecessary overheads. Running a business online is a continuously accepted and growing phenomenon and there is no reason why we are not able to deliver a full estate agency service without the need of High Street premises and multiple staff”.

Myroost.co.uk’s website has been in development for the last 6 months. They have taken their first property on and are offering their first five instructions an estate agency service, including marketing on all major property websites such as Rightmove, Primelocation, Findaproperty and Zoopla, for just £1.

Initially, they will be offering this service in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset but will expand into other areas with the demand that is required.
