99 Bottles beer store helps those affected by the earthquake in Japan and the Pacific Tsunami by contributing funds from the sales of Japanese beer to the American Red Cross.
“I felt so horrible seeing the images on the news,” says Craig Adamowski, owner of 99 Bottles in Federal Way. “We have so many Japanese beers, and we wanted to do something to help. This seems like the best way we could offer assistance.”
In an effort to support the victims of this disaster, 99 Bottles will be donating 100% of its gross profits from the sales of Japanese-brewed beers, now thru March 15, to the “Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami” fund of the American Red Cross.
Two Japanese breweries have sites in the heavily affected city of Sendai, Japan, including Kirin Ichiban, one of the nearly 20 different Japanese beers are available at 99 Bottles.
