Jazzy Chocolate Indulgence at Waterville Valley

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 19, 2010 -- Waterville Valley, NH- Waterville Valley Resort’s 11th Annual Chocolate & Jazz event will be held Saturday, August 7th in the Town Square from 6 to 9 p.m. The sounds of jazz will fill the air as guests can indulge in chocolate temptations offered by Town Square merchants. The concerts are free and desserts are to be sold by the piece. Guests can head over to Jugtown for a delightful sampling of wine to be paired with your chocolates.

The courtyard of Waterville Valley's classic New England Town Square will resonate with the sounds of smooth jazz with the Tom Robinson Jazz Trio, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. The Jazz tunes' sweet strains will act as a perfect accompaniment to some of the tastiest treats available in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, prepared by the Town Square merchants. There is no charge to attend the concert. An assortment of reasonably priced desserts will be available for visitors with a penchant for chocolate.

For those who want to pair their chocolate with beverage, a wine tasting will be held at Jugtown, a wine cellar and country store in Town Square, and cappuccino drinks at the Coffee Emporium will delight the coffee-lovers palate.

Special lodging packages include Friday and Saturday night stays, plus a chocolate welcome kit at arrival, vouchers for dessert at the Chocolate and Jazz event, and Summer Unlimited Activities. Prices start at $37 per person per night based on quad-occupancy.
