http://www.jcbartendingacademy.com To help reduce alcohol-related fatalities, JC Bartending Academy , DFW’s largest Bartending School, has partnered with the American Training Institute (ATI) to incorporate an Alcohol Safety and Awareness course into their 32-hour curriculum as a pre-requisite to graduate and work as a certified bartender with JC Bartending, Inc., a mobile bartending/staffing service. Designed by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC ), the Alcohol Safety and Awareness course certifies bartenders to serve alcohol in the state of Texas. This 4 hour class teaches bartenders about the effects of alcohol on the human body as well as the laws pertaining to the service of alcohol to minors, visibly intoxicated individuals and those with existing medical conditions.
Additionally, ATI has agreed to certify the instructors and owners of JC Bartending Academy as training administrators of the Alcohol Safety and Awareness course to ensure that each student graduates with the strong understanding of the importance of alcohol safety and how they will play a key role in helping to save lives upon entering into the bartending industry as certified bartenders.
Enhancing the awareness of alcohol safety is a key attribute to aiding in the fight against drunk driving. In conjunction with the alcohol distribution companies and restaurant owners, bartenders are the integral factor between the alcohol itself and an individual consumer, which means that they are the life saver when they limit or stop alcohol service before individuals become intoxicated. The owners of JC Bartending Academy are passionate about teaching their students to have situational awareness, use common sense and obey the laws as it pertains to the service of alcohol whether working at a bar, restaurant or a private party.
JC Bartending Academy donates 1% of all student tuition to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), a non-profit organization designed to aid the victims of crimes performed by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to aid the families of such victims and to increase public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving.
