Jeff Colburn's Photograph Is In The Phoenix Art Museum

JEFF COLBURN'S PHOTOGRAPH IS IN THE PHOENIX ART MUSEUM

Jeff Colburn, a Fine Art photographer in northern Arizona, will have his photograph on display at the Phoenix Art Museum (1625 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85004, 24-hour Information: (602) 257-1222, Offices: (602) 257-1880) for the First Friday Art Walk (February 3rd, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm).

Jeff entered several images in the Phoenix Art Museum's Iconic Arizona: Celebrating The Arizona Centennial With Photographs From The Center For Creative Photography contest (http://www.phxart.org/iconicaz). A total of 585 photographs were entered, and from these a museum committee selected 60 images. One of these images was Jeff's Rainbow in the Red Rocks of Sedona.

"This is really a great honor," Jeff said. "I had no idea that the Phoenix Art Museum was going to select images to be printed and displayed. What a great surprise."

Tempe Camera will print these images and put them on display at the museum for the Art Walk. The photographers are invited to be present, and Jeff will be there to answer any questions about his photograph.

During the Art Walk, the public is invited to vote on their favorite photograph. The winner will receive a $100 gift card for Tempe Camera. The three images that receive the most votes will be displayed in Tempe Camera's in-store gallery.

Jeff is an 18-year resident of northern Arizona, and has been a photographer and writer for over 35 years.

He ran his own freelance photography business in southern California for many years. Jeff is also a published writer, with his articles being used by over 100 businesses, publications and websites.

Jeff's photographs are also on permanent display at The New State Motor Building (110 Main St., Jerome, AZ, across the street from Grapes Restaurant and down the stairs).
