Jeff Perry Quartet returns to the Dakota, Wed Aug 5, 7-11 PM

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 3, 2009 -- Performing with Perry will be some of the Twin Cities' local musical gems; Mary Louise Knutson (piano), Gordy Johnson (upright bass), and Trenon Graham (drums, Sounds of Blackness). The silky vocals of Becky Bastien will be featured on a few songs as well.
You can expect Perry's usual repertoire of jazz standards with a few Bob Marley, Police, and Beatles tunes thrown in. You’ll hear swing, reggae, soul, and other toe-tapping’ grooves, and of course some smokin’ solos.

The Dakota is located at 1010 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN. There is a nominal cover charge. The Dakota has excellent food as well.
