San Francisco, August 9, 2011 – Jeitosa Group International announces the launch of its fourth annual “Going Global” Survey to assess the state of the global human resources and HR technology functions. Supported by the International Association of Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), Jeitosa’s survey uncovers leading practices by evaluating the crucial components of global human capital management: HR strategy, organizational design, business processes, people/culture, and technology.
“HR is awash in surveys,” says Bill Kutik, analyst, columnist, and father of the HR Technology Conference. “But amid the clutter, one survey stands out for HR’s international issues and the challenges in going global: Jeitosa Group International’s Going Global Survey. The survey covers global HR strategy, organization, business process, culture, and technology – all the areas where Jeitosa has no real competition that I know of.”
Last year, HR professionals from several hundred global companies across all continents responded to the survey. The results showed increasing globalization, year over year, of key business functions across all areas of HR, specifically in talent management, benefits, and payroll. According to respondents, the greatest challenges organizations face in going global are dealing with cultural differences and a general lack of resources with global experience. Technology issues, time zone differences, data quality issues, and data privacy compliance are additional areas that organizations struggle with in going global.
Karen Beaman, CEO and Chief Researcher for Jeitosa Group International says: “The goal of our survey is to provide insights into leading HR practices to help organizations in globalizing their HR function.”
The survey is available on Jeitosa’s website, and the results are presented in complimentary webinars, as well as a written report. Respondents are eligible to receive a free, one-hour consultation with one of Jeitosa’s Transnational Experts discussing their responses to those of top performing global organizations in the survey. All global organizations are invited to participate at www.jeitosa.com.
