Jimmie Van Zant Starts 2012 National Tour

Casselberry, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 14, 2012 -- Casselberry, FL – Chappell Entertainment and booking agents Artists International Management present southern rock artist Jimmie Van Zant’s national headlining tour, set to kick off this February.

Van Zant will start his tour on February 24th, 2012 at the Historic Palace Theatre in Lockport, NY. For this first show, he will be co-headlining with Molly Hatchet, another well-known classic southern rock band. This will be one of multiple performances the two bands will share the stage for this coming year. Along with his performances with Molly Hatchet, Van Zant will also be co-headlining with Bad Company, former lead singer Brian Howe this year.

The Palace Theatre was built in 1925 by the famous Charles Dickinson. It has been the site of many historic performing events in the Western New York area, such as its first show, “The Ten Commandments.” The theatre has been historically noted for its famous attendees like Lucille Ball in its box seats.
