JobsDB.com’s “Spot the Copycat” Campaign
10 iPads to be given away to users who report imitators of groundbreaking features
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 3, 2010 --
JobsDB.com (“JobsDB”), the leading online recruitment network in Asia Pacific, in conjunction with the launch of its revamped Recruitment Management System (“RMS”), is launching the “Spot the Copycat Campaign" to assert its intellectual property rights in its groundbreaking features that are first to be found in any job portal in Malaysia.
Latest groundbreaking features launched by JobsDB.com
Focusing on users’ experience and efficiency, JobsDB’s proprietary system allows both jobseekers and employers to multi-task on a single “dashboard” without the need for a page change and pop-ups that are frequently experienced by web users. The major innovative features selected for the Campaign are:
“Dynamic Job Search On Map”: Instant dynamic display of selected jobs while user pans map location. This enables the jobseeker to view job opportunities in a preferred location, or see on-the-fly results while changing search criteria.
“Preview Mode”: Through a split-screen display, jobseekers can view up to 100 job templates on a single page without opening new pages or pop-ups.
“Resume Preview”: Through JobsDB’s RMS, employers can open up to 100 brief or full resumes on the same page, and process them under the same dashboard.
“Import Resumes in Multiple Formats”: Employers can import resumes in a variety of document formats, including image and text files such as PDF and PPT. This allows consolidation of applicants from different channels into a single system for processing.
“Auto-opened Attachments”: Resume attachments are opened automatically (without download) in a preview pane in the same page, enabling employers to view applicants faster and more effectively. Different document formats are supported by this new feature.
“Spot the Copycat" Campaign:
In this Campaign, JobsDB will solicit help from its jobseeker and corporate members to identify if any of the above proprietary features have been copied by jobsites in Malaysia. A total of 10 iPads will be given to qualified participants who correctly identify the features being copied in the reported jobsite. The first 2 correctly identified entries for each of the above features, infringed by different jobsites, will be rewarded with an iPad.
Running from August 3, 2010 to December 31, 2010, the Campaign is open to registered jobseeker and corporate members of JobsDB in Malaysia. Participants are required to complete the “Spot the Copycat” submission form via the link [www.jobsdb.com.my/StaticContent/my/contest/copycat]. The winners and their entries will be published in the Campaign web page at http://www.jobsdb.com.my during the Campaign period. JobsDB.com reserves the right to take action against the offending jobsite(s) after verification is carried out.
