John Balboni was Appointed as Chief Information Officer at International Paper

Memphis, Tennessee, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 25, 2011 -- March 23, 2005 - International Paper promoted John Balboni to Chief Information Officer, effective immediately. John is responsible for information technology worldwide, which includes all computer operations, systems development, voice and data communications and advanced information technology.

John Balboni has held various roles at International Paper Co. over a 21-year career. He first joined International Paper in 1988 from the Kendell Company, as president of its Non-woven Fabrics Business. Subsequently he has been responsible for International Paper's eBusiness and new business development efforts.

Mr. Balboni is a Trustee of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since June 4, 2009. He also serves in his local chapter of United Way. Mr. Balboni holds a BA and an MBA from Boston College.
