Johnny JP Powers, JPP (www.johnny-powers-presents.com) Johnny Powers 50 Years Tribute(tm). The year of The Warrior Spirit(tm) of Johnny Powers.

Only Johnny Powers, the iconic ex-world champion fighter, with the traveling Mat Troubadour(tm) history would start off the first day of his 50th year in the pro-fight business and would celebrate his birthday in 3 counties in one day.

This past March 20, JP as he is also known, started the day in Mexico City coming from a El Campion Maximo reality series shoot, then flew to Charlotte, N.C. and then to Buffalo Niagara Interenational Airport. That was followed by a drive over to his summer place farms outside of Smithville, Ontario. This world-class fight promoter, his family, friends and fans from over 20 countries where he has either fought as a pro-wrestler or martial sports combat competitor or as an international fight promoter and TV sports event producer have been celebrating since his birthday March 20, 2009. This celebration tribute will run to his 67th birthday, March 20th, 2010.

A series of event, both privately and publically, have taken place or are planned with a New Years Eve December 31st, 2009 PPV(pay-per-view) Gala event scheduled. Dates, places and the lineup are expected by mid-September. The event working title is Johnny Powrs Annual “Muscles, Mats and Musicality Mayhem”(tm). JP calls it “tough guys extreme fighting meets Riverdance meets Cirque”. JP says stay tuned.
