Fiamma Caravanstore awnings are strong and sturdy and can be used all year round as long as you follow some sensible rules.

1. If you are using the Caravanstore without the privacy enclosure or the zip with out the zip enclosure then it is always a good idea to roll it away at night or when you are leaving the vehicle. This only takes a minute but can save a lot of damage if you get a freak gust of wind.
2. It is a good idea to put a tie down strap over the awning when ever it is being used. The tie down strap should be placed over the canvas near the font lead bar and pegged at the side.
3. Another good tip is when it's raining is to lower one leg so the water should pour off that front corner and not pool and stretch the fabric.

4. Make sure that the ends of the arms of the caravanstore are always located in the cups in the back of the zip up bag, to stop the arms from slipping and damaging the van. It is also very important to tension the arms properly for the same reason. Fiamma also sell an additional caravanstore tension rafter that will help strengthen and support your awning.
5. It is always safer to peg the legs down to the ground and if you use the fiammastor plates to go over the feet then it will protect your awning even more. The caravanatore is the only Fiamma awning that comes with guylines and it is wise to use them at all times.
6. When rolling the caravanstore away it is important to roll it the right way otherwise it won't zip up into the bag properly. Roll it under the canopy, this also ensures that no debris is rolled into the awning from the top which may pierce the canvas.

7. The Fiamma Caravanstore awnings are some of the strongest bag awnings on the market but as with any roll out awning it pays to be sensible and not leave it out in bad weather conditions. Replacement parts are available incase the odd little accident happens.
