VICKSBURG, MISS. — Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg is a proud co-sponsor of the 2009 Over The River Run in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The Mississippi Track Club will direct the race, with proceeds directly benefiting the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation.

Over The River Run in Vicksburg, MS will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. This 5-mile run starts at the Old Mississippi River Bridge, located at I-20 and Washington Street, continues on to cross the bridge and then ends up back in Vicksburg. There will be a 5-mile run and a 5-mile walk, with a 1-mile Fun Run following the events. Several awards in each of the following categories will be given out:

• Corporate Teams
• 1-Mile Fun Run
