Our Itinerary for this Inspirational Tour of the Holy Land
Sea of Galilee:
Explore the area of Jesus' early ministry around the Sea of Galilee. In the morning, visit the archaeological site of Capernaum, the fishing village where Simon Peter lived. After exploring the site, we will visit the Ancient Boat Museum, which houses a fishing boat dating back 2000 years. Next, visit the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized. Finally, disciples will enjoy an hour-long boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
Nazareth:

Travel east of Galilee toward Nazareth. Visit Nazareth village, a re-creation of what Nazareth was like 2000 years ago. Then, see the view from Mount Precipice, a cliff traditionally believed to be the place where the people of Nazareth tried to kill Jesus. After that we will visit the old capital of Galilee and the educational center where modern Judaism evolved! We will end the day at the capital of the Decapolis and the site where King Saul and Jonathan were killed.

Dead Sea:
Drive east of Jerusalem through the Judean Desert. Stop in Jericho, the "City of Palms", and then take a dip in the Dead Sea, where you can float even if you can't swim! After than we see Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. We then take a walk through the beautiful Nature Reserve. In the afternoon, we visit the Israel
Temple Mount, Western/Wailing Wall:

Start the day by visiting the Temple Mount (if available), where disciples can view the golden Dome of the Rock and the site of the Jewish Temple. Continue across to the Pool of Bethesda and St. Anne’s Church, where we sing a hymn of praise together. From there, we walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We then walk down to the historic Western Wall, before entering the Jerusalem Archeological Park. At the park, we will see where the first disciples were baptized on Pentecost, and learn about the Temple at the time of Jesus. After that, we will visit the Garden Tomb.
