FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JBS Racing could not be more excited about the 2009 World Championships of Offshore Racing in Key West, Florida this November. Their new 52’ Mystic cat is powered by two 2000HP Turbines engines, which propel this carbon fiber craft to speeds in excess of 200mph. JBS is on a mission; they want to get back on the water and become the World Champions once again. JBS Racing will record every angle (8 to be exact) possible using JonesCAM’s solid state JC-2 MPEG2 and 4 PVR’s coupled with JonesCAM’s 560 LOR color CCD cameras. JBS Racing www.JBSracing.com crew chief, Jason Borys knew what he needed for their new on-board boat and camera system and once again he choose JonesCAM.
At speeds exceeding 200mph, hitting waves that can be bigger than many trucks, will destroys virtually anything. The crew, boat, engines, DVR recorders, cameras, everything gets pounded. NASA and JBS Racing have a several things in common besides requiring the best, they both use JonesCAM micro-video JC-2 PVR for recording equipment. www.JonesCAM.tv For over 8 years, race boats, cars, jets, monster trucks, F-16 pilots and even the X-37 shuttle use JonesCAM cameras and recorders. NASA uses the same PVR and JonesCAM LX camera for their Lunar Rover. Rockwell Collins is using the same PVR’s and JonesCAM 560 OSD Sony CCD cameras for their UAV development. How do say, high profile and mission critical any clearer… The JBS Racing boat is equipped with the 8 JonesCAM JC-2 solid state recorders produce 720 x 480 video at 30fps in MPEG2 or 4 at up to 10 Mbps and being solid state, they’ll take a pounding. Several JonesCAM customer use the JonesCAM JC-2 for TV shows and swears by the device and often upscales the video to 16:9 ratios to match HD camera shots without hesitation.
The specially designed PVR’s are attached to (8) JonesCAM 560 lines of resolution Sony CCD cameras to insure the delivery of every second of heart stopping, bone jarring race footage. Jason said when he called, “We want the baddest system available and cameras everywhere, in the cockpit, front view, rear views, inside the engine compartments, and a 360 degree set-up. Yes 360 degrees”. Check the samples from Miami 09’ http://www.jbsracing.com/movie/default2.aspx see 5 of the 8 cameras perspective. All of the boats audio including their cockpit communications is synchronized and captured in the 8 PVR’s stored in a waterproof Pelican case measuring only 12” x 6” x 6”. The unique features the JonesCAM JC-2 includes, GPS sensor technology, Ethernet connection, wireless controls and wireless/network communications. A complete on board PVR package starts at less than $1000.00. Head to Key West with JonesCAM
