JORGE AMEER’S LATEST POLEMIC FILM "D’AGOSTINO" UNRAVELS THE BENEFITS & PERILS OF HUMAN CLONING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 29, 2009 --
This soon to be released film by auteur Jorge Ameer tells the macabre story of what can happen when one fed up man, Allan Dawson (Keith Roenke), has too much too say but no one who will listen. This story takes place in the future, where science and technology has advanced to such depths that human cloning is internet order form away for the wealthy. Cloning has always been the subject of moral and ethical debate yet, the film goes beyond its moral implications to address an even deeper issue. What if you had access to a clone to do with or train as you wish? and the other, even more important question, what happens if the clone falls in the wrong hands? how would he be used? worse, what would he be trained to do?
In Mr. Ameer’s film, people are a mere obtrusive distraction to Allan Dawson. Stuck in a sedentary relationship with fiancee Sylvia Krystel (Torie Tyson), his dull repetitious existence gives no gratification. He has a sublime disposition yet an underbelly filled with perceptions of atrocities. His social reality lies bleak in a life situation he sees no solution to until one day he’s informed about the inheritance of property left by his grandmother in Santorini, Greece. His impressions and interpretations of his life are obstructed by his constant whaling of irreparable social political and moral solutions he has no control over. However, with his new found real estate acquisition, his inner thoughts and points of view will gradually be coming into being as he’s unexpectedly introduced to D’Agostino (Michael Angels).
The discovery of D’Agostino encourages a well-meaning ineptitude that rises to empyreal absurdity for Allan, but as his interactions progress, we are exposed to a monstrousness; a penetrating ferociousness within his state of mind that leads to a quality of being ruthless, cruel, harsh, and unrelenting. We soon see Allan fall into the depths of moral perversion which will ignite an explosive and unforeseeable backlash, hence becoming the victim to his own actions.
The film is schedule to commence its festival run next spring, with a theatrical release schedule for mid to late 2010. To view the theatrical trailer of this motion picture or screening schedule, more information is available at the official website www.hollywoodindependents.com
