Sandy Alderson the general manager of New York Mets expresses his optimism while talking with WFAN. He talked about the financial problems of the Mets. He said that “once we get to spring training, we’ll be almost all business. I think they have a sense of humor. I think they are passionate and I certainly don’t want to offend that passion. Three months from now that financial picture could be a lot clearer and a lot brighter. In the meantime, we’re going to spring training and I think we’ll have a far more interesting team to watch then many people have felt”. He also told about Johan Santana that he is scheduled to play.
Josh lewin will join 2012 radio broadcast team of New York Mets. He said, “It’s exciting to be a part of Mets’ broadcast team with Howie Rose, who is one of the best in business”. The CBS Radio New York and WFAN’s operation manager, Mark Chernoff said that “josh brings extensive experience and knowledge to the broadcasts and is a tremendous addition to the Mets Radio Booth”.

New York Mets are a professional baseball team. It was inaugurated in 1962 and a song was written in 1961 “meet the Mets” by Ruth Roberts and Bill Katz. It was the signature song of Mets. From 1964 to 2008 their home ballpark was Shea Stadium. They won two World Series titles in 1969 and 1986. They also won five National League East titles and Four National League Pennants. They moved to their new stadium known as Citi Field in 2009. After the 3 consecutive losing seasons, in 2012 they will try to play better and perform well. For their fifth anniversary in 2012 they announced new uniforms. Mets baseball logo will be replaced by a 5oth anniversary patch.
