Josh Lindsay Advertising was sold Wednesday to a Boston-based media company touting itself as the country's 30th largest advertising company.
Josh Lindsay Advertising will add more than 14 websites to the Boston based internet advertising firm.
CPG was acquired in 2010 by Josh Lindsay of Holladay Utah, and restructured and sold in 2011 for $1.2 million. The sale consists of 14 websites with 400,000 unique visitors daily to the sites.
" Many people have asked why I would sell so soon after restructuring these sites into the Black? The intention I had when I acquired the 14 sites in 2010 was to restructure the sales model and prepare it for sale. I believe that the sales was a good fit for both parties, as my buyer has the ability and cash to take these online websites to a higher place, said Josh lindsay"
This sale will create one of the larger internet marketing companies in the USA. With target sites from college humor, dating, even automotive these 14 new sites will round out the agency and give a good mix for all ages.
