Journyx Announces 2012 Excellence In Project Accounting Philosophy Essay Scholarship; Names Stephanie Adams as 2011 Winner

Austin tx, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) July 8, 2011 -- AUSTIN, TEXAS (July 8, 2011) -- Journyx today announces that Stephanie Adams is the winner of the 2011 Excellence In Project Accounting Philosophy Essay Scholarship. Adams, a graduate of The George Washington University, will enter the M.B.A. program at The University of Texas at Austin this year. Adams’ essay explains how “better resource management processes can improve a company’s bottom line by ensuring that little to no resources go to waste, thus reducing costs and optimizing profits.”

Journyx also announces the 2012 Excellence In Project Accounting Philosophy Essay Scholarship. The winner will be awarded $500 USD towards his or her tuition and fees.

Students interested in submitting an essay for the scholarship are asked to choose one of two topics:
• Describe a real situation you've encountered where project oriented time tracking made a positive difference in the world
• Discuss how better resource management processes can improve a company's bottom line

Following is an excerpt from Adams’ essay on the latter topic:

“Resource management processes are infinitely valuable in aiding any organization or unit within an organization to better achieve its end goals. By researching and implementing resource management processes and techniques, companies and organizations can reduce their costs dramatically and ensure that all resources are being best utilized.”

For the 2012 Journyx Scholarship, one student (currently enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate at a university in the United States) will be awarded the scholarship in recognition of his or her passion for improving the lives of knowledge workers through technology, academic excellence, and the ability to make a difference in the project accounting technology industry. All entries must be received by June 1, 2012.
