Juggling the Issues of Parenthood

With the rise in unemployment, rising cost of raising a child and cuts in child benefits, families feel as though they're throwing up 20 balls every day and counting themselves lucky if they catch one

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 16, 2012 -- With talk of the rise in unemployment, the rising cost of raising a child, the usual spike in New Year divorce rates, cuts in child benefits and more homes being repossessed than ever before, it comes as no surprise that in order to keep up with it all, families feel as though they’re throwing up twenty balls every day and counting themselves lucky if they catch one.

That was indeed the case for Ingrid Marsh - a TV and Radio Broadcaster and the lunchtime Presenter for Hayes FM 91.8 – who had a meltdown herself whilst trying to juggle the demands of her own family life. In Ingrid’s case, it was her skills gained as a Life Coach and NLP Practitioner thereafter that she used to aid her own recovery. Now along with industry experts, Ingrid offers solutions to parents on juggling the issues of family life in her recently launched podcasts, The Family Hour - available for download at www.TheFamilyHour.com.

Ingrid says,

‘I put together The Family Hour show and podcasts after going through dark times myself and was convinced that I would never feel normal again. The challenges involved with keeping a roof over our heads, school fees before moving my son to a state school, health issues with my son, looking good and maintaining a decent relationship with my then partner who developed bipolar disorder and who then, left me for his ex-partner after I nursed him back to health, led to a meltdown. It was the most difficult time of my life. In effect, I recovered by life-coaching myself out of it and now aim to do the same for other parents, if only to save them from the dramas that I went through.’

Updated every alternate day, Ingrid and her team scourers the news for issues affecting parenting and family life, and, with interviews with industry expert’s proficient in their field, in an upbeat and fun manner, offers solutions to the many issues families face in juggling family life.

Interviews with industry experts range from support groups such as Relate the relationship experts and Mind, the support group for mental health, to individuals, such as Anna Kennedy, an expert for parents of children with Autism and Peter Ralph, a Careers and Family Business Coach. The Family Hour podcasts are available for download at www.TheFamilyHour.Com
