Ms. Lindner serves as a Registered Nurse First Assistant at Sierra View District Hospital. Her day-to-day responsibilities include performing the usual functions pertaining to the peri-operative experience, as well as performing a number of intra-operative functions including handling tissue, providing adequate exposure with retractors, using instruments, suturing, and maintaining hemostasis. She also provides technical assistance during various types of surgery under the supervision of the operating room surgeon. She became interested in the medical field after volunteering as a candy striper in Buffalo, New York.

In 2008, Ms. Lindner became a Registered Nurse First Assistant of Surgery through the National Institute of First Assistants. A Certified Open Water Scuba Diver, she is a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, and has volunteered abroad on several medical mission trips to Africa, Poland and Peru with the Hope for Tomorrow Foundation.
