Jump Start Your Heart, Inc. announces its annual Valentines Gala

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 19, 2012 -- Jump Start Your Heart, Inc. announces its annual Valentines Gala on February 11, 2012.

January 16, 2012 – Jump Start Your Heart Inc. invites you to join them at their annual Valentines Gala. The Gala will be held at the Renaissance Hotel of Baton Rouge, 7000 Bluebonnet Blvd. on February 11, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tickets are $75.00 per person. Jump Start Your Heart Inc. provides much needed Free cardiovascular screenings to young athletes for early detection of hypertrophic heart disease. This disease has caused athletes both young and old to lose their lives in the prime of their athletic careers. Jump Start Your Heart, Inc., is dedicated to preventing untimely deaths like the recent death of younth athlete: Shane Ozene, who’s untimely death due to an undetected heart ailment can be read by clicking here.

The proceeds from the worthy fundraising event will be used to add equipment for testing and provide cardiovascular screenings for even more young athletes in the community. “Our mission is to decrease the incidence of sudden cardiac deaths, so “Lets’ Save Lives Together” as we continue to raise awareness regarding sudden cardiac death, healthy eating and exercise in young athletes”, said Danielle Kelley, Executive Director of Jump Start Your Heart Inc. “We are also nearing the 5 year anniversary of the death of Shannon Veal (a student athlete) on February 18, 2012. Shannon inspired our organization and brought Jump Start Your Heart, Inc. into fruition. Thanks to Ms. Adrianne and Shayla Veal over years for all their support and believing in the mission." adds Mrs. Kelley.
