"Kampung Girl" from Malaysia Presents "The Father of Digital Art" Laurence Gartel to Unveil His First Computer Generated Sculpture During Art Basel 2009 At National Hotel South Beach.

They recently showcased their Artists Exhibition during Festivals Of Speed in Orlando & Miami (www.FestivalsOfSpeed.com)

Now they will be representing their artists During Art Basel in the National Hotel South Beach on December 3rd thru December 6th, 2009.

The Featured artist will be LAURENCE GARTEL (http://www.gartelautomotion.com/biography.html) "The Father of Digital Art" along with other emerging International Artists Carly Ivan Garcia, Yuri Pronevich and Robert Harris.

The kick-off event will start at 8 pm with Complimentary cocktails from Crystal Head Vodka and SmartEnergy Cocktail mixed with unique Malaysian Beverages thru 9pm and the event will continue until midnight.

Laurence Gartel will present an overview of the last 30-years of his works, a book signing for his latest publication: "AUTO MOTION"
The Introduction was written by Jason Castriota, creator of the Ferrari 599 and Maserati Gran Tourismo and will be highlighted with the UNVEILING of His FIRST Computer Generated Sculpture.

Laurence Gartel has chalked up a lot of firsts. He was the first digital artist featured in an Absolut vodka ad campaign, the first to have his work on the cover of Forbes magazine, the first to create a moving-image self-portrait -- now in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
"Laurence Gartel was a pioneer of digital art," said Fatima Nejame, executive director of the Palm Beach Photographic Centre in Delray Beach. "He was doing that kind of work when it was still analog."

Along with talented emerging Artist Carly Ivan Garcia, where his artwork has been collected by Hollywood Actor Ed Harris, Twin directors Noah & Logan Miller.
His works will also be featured in a movie "Touching Home" which will be released by March 17, 2010.
