Kapelan Bio-Imaging and Leipzig University of Applied Science win price for entrepreneurship

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 16, 2010 -- The Leipzig competition of young entrepreneurs (LIFE) addresses students, alumni and members of the colleges in Leipzig to support business concepts.
The aim of the competition is to support the colleges in Leipzig for young entrepreneurship and to develop a platform for interesting business ideas of foundation in a very early phase.

One of the most honoured business ideas was a cooperation project between Kapelan Bio-Imaging and the Leipzig University of Applied Science.

The project is focused on the establishment of an innovative and objective presentation standard for nuclear medical data.

This standard will be integrated into the new LabImage platform, developed by Kapelan Bio-Imaging.

The Bio-Imaging platform LabImage is the latest development of Kapelan Bio-Imaging, shortening the process of implementation of software solutions in the medical image analysis. The platform consists of a large variety of modules, which allow to illustrate processes based on a workflows. Users will benefit from a standardized user surfaces. The platform will be published in the first quarter of 2010.
