Karen Harrington Supporter Attempts to Bring Hamas-Related Group Into Republican Party

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 27, 2011 -- Last night, Javier Manjarres, a paid supporter of the Karen Harrington for Congress campaign, attempted to ruin the local Broward Republican Party by thrusting a leader of a Hamas-related group into it.

· CAIR-Miami Executive Director, Nezar Hamze, admitted that Manjarres recommended him to the local GOP and wrote the same on his application to BREC.

· Hamze refused to sign a petition to place Joe Kaufman on the ballot for U.S. Congress, stating that he was, instead, backing Karen Harrington.

· BREC members questioned how Hamze, a strong critic of U.S. Congressman Allen West and Congressional candidate Joe Kaufman, could support the two Republicans.

· Some believe Manjarres has been pushing Hamze to get involved in BREC as a way to destroy the local GOP, whose leadership Manjarres has clearly been targeting.

· BREC members voted 158 to 11 to deny Hamze a position as BREC Committeeman.

· According to the Miami Herald, Manjarres defended Hamze saying that Hamze was “set up” and that BREC “singled him out.”

· Inside sources have stated that Harrington has paid a lot of money to buy Manjarres’ support, including his endorsement and access to his network of contacts.
