KDF Hosts Cub Scout Pack 120 of Norwood, NJ

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 2, 2010 -- Rockleigh, NJ (KDF) 2/2/2010: KDF Reprographics, Inc. of Rockleigh, gave a presentation on communication to Cub Scout Pack 120 of Norwood, New Jersey Saturday January 23, 2010.

Cub Scout Pack 120 of Norwood was given a one hour presentation on communication by KDF President Stephen Hoey. The 10 members of Pack 120 attended the presentation in order to satisfy the requirements for their communications merit badge. During the presentation Mr. Hoey, along with KDF production manager Rad Horak demonstrated how communication is used in all of the services KDF provides including: reprographics, document scanning, vehicle wrap advertising, and color graphics. As part of the color graphics demonstration the troop learned how a vinyl banner was created from design to printing.

The pack also received a take home packet explaining the details of communication, how it relates to their everyday lives and how it is utilized in a business setting. Mr. Hoey also presented the pack with a custom banner and custom decals for their vehicles.

We wanted to demonstrate communications to Pack 120 in a way that was both educational and fun, and I think we succeeded on both levels.
