He was ordained into the ministry in 1977 and has pastored in the Kansas City area, Fairfax County, Virginia, and now in his home town of San Antonio, Texas at Grace Church. He is a frequent guest speaker on the Heaven and Home Hour and the author of several books including The Prodigal Son and His Prodigal Father and Dead Men Rising, a commentary on Romans 6:1-14.

The station intends to turn 8 hours of air time on Sunday mornings and afternoon over to faith based shows, currently it has a gospel and Chorus playlist and guest presenters. Jonathan is the first regular feature - the station management were taken with his 30 minute Stories, simply but sincerely told and felt that a global audience would enjoy the stories too.
