Kelsey Grammer, Corbin Bleu, Lydia Cornell, and Annette Martin Team Up With Impulse Magazine for PIA Child-A-Thon Fundraiser on TODHD

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 30, 2010 -- July 30, 2010 - Orlando,FL - Impulse Magazine has already committed a donation towards the Child-A-Thon benefit that will raise money for children in East Africa. TODHD is hosting the Partners in Action charity event on its Internet network. Exclusively online, the Child-A-Thon will run live on Saturday, July 31 from 8am – 8pm PT.

Guests expected to appear throughout the event include:

Kelsey Grammer, currently starring in Broadway’s “LaCage Aux Folles” and formerly of “Frasier”

Corbin Bleu, star of the “High School Musical” films and currently singing and acting in Broadway’s “In the Heights”

Lydia Cornell, star of “Too Close for Comfort” and current host of TODHD show “Lydia Live”

Jay Link, lead singer of L.A. hard rock band “Death and Taxes”

Annette Martin, renowned psychic

PIA states the cause quite simply, “AIDS, malaria, hunger, malnutrition, and starvation are claiming the lives of our world's most vulnerable individuals: the poor and displaced. At this very moment 1.2 billion children are at risk of dying from starvation alone. 24,000 children die each day. 170,000 children die each week. The numbers are heartbreaking. A response is critical.”

Two orphanages in East Africa and the children surrounding them is the focus of this Child-A-Thon. Contributions made Saturday will go directly to feed, house, clothe, educate and care for these children. This weekend, PIA’s goal is to raise $12,000 to fund these projects.
