The programmes is open to all persons with the same spirit and welcome volunteers from all walks of life who wish to come to Kenya to share our commitment, compassionate and practical care and support for these communities while exploring a great African country and an enriching volunteer abroad experience . http://www.kvcdp.org . Home Adventure was established and became operational in 2006. The organization main office is in Wagusu village a few meters from away from the shores of lake Victoria in Bondo District Nyanza province of western Kenya. The secretariat office is in Nairobi at the Nairobi International Youth Hostel. The organization was formed with the aim of promoting the girl child education and economic empowerment for women.

With the increase of HIV infections, especially among communities living along the shores of L. Victoria, the organization work include HIV/AIDS prevention education, care and support. It works to help girls and women empower themselves mentally and economically, through education, counseling and community sensitization.

The women cannot be empowered unless girls are given the tools to realize their full potential.

Despite the fact that free primary education was introduced in Kenya, women and girls continue to be excluded from school either due to cultural pressure or drop out of school because of circumstances brought about by unguided behavior.
