Kickboard USA Announces Design-a-Scooter-Buddy Contest!

Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 18, 2011 -- Kickboard USA is sponsoring a contest inviting children to design their very own Scooter Buddy and submit their drawing to our Facebook page. Kids will have an exciting opportunity to have their one-of-a-kind Scooter Buddy come to life with the monster making help of our contest partner, North American Bear Company, known for their My Own Monsters featuring funny fiends made exclusively by children for children!

One Grand Prize and 4 Runner Up winners will be selected by Kickboard USA and announced on May 3, 2011. All five winners will receive a Scooter of their choice.

The Grand Prize Winner will have their very own winning contest entry come to life as a custom designed 20″ Scooter Buddy in soft velour (a $249 retail value!) in addition to the scooter of their choice. The Grand Prize Winning design of the Scooter Buddy Contest will be created by North American Bear Co. for re-sale. The design will belong to North American Bear Co., Inc. and any reproductions of this design will require permission from North American Bear Company. This Scooter Buddy design will be available exclusively through Kickboard USA in November 2011 as an attachable soft toy to buddy up with mini-riding kids across the country.

Ask your child to create a Scooter Buddy. It can be a nice friend or mean, sad or happy, smart, fast, dirty or clean. It can have a face and a body, or just a face, but every Scooter Buddy needs to have a name. Be sure to let us know: “What does your Scooter Buddy like? What can your Scooter Buddy do? Does your Scooter Buddy have any unique powers or skills? What makes your Scooter Buddy special?”

Contest ends SUNDAY MAY 1, 2011 at 11:59pm EST and all entries should be submitted through Kickboard USA’s Facebook page.

To enter, just complete the Scooter Buddy Contest Release Form (http://www.kickboardusa.com/?viewPage=scooter-buddy-contest) and Registration and submit your entry by uploading a photo of the drawing your child created, together with the Scooter Buddy name and story (what do they like to do?) on Kickboard USA’s Facebook Fan Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kickboard-USA/70432992027).

All children who enter will win a scooter bag (while supplies last). Limit one contest entry per child.
