Children worldwide are invited to compose a song based on Greanwold the Minosaur, who originated in New Zealand and who can be seen on the website http://www.greanwold.com. The ten best entries will win one of Ten I-Pads. The entry judged the winner will have his / her song recorded by the an upcoming New York band to be named once negotiations are complete. The winning song will become the theme song for the Greanwold property.Those entries not selected as one of the top ten songs, could win one of many ancillary prizes.

The winning entries will be included on a new CD of Greanwold songs and will also be featured in the upcoming Greanwold’s World, an interactive website based on Greanwold and his Minosaur friends. Greanwold’s World is due for release in August 2011 and will include online video games, animated webisodes and an expanded range of Greanwold products.

Greanwold has a foundation in his name, The Greanwold Foundation for Kids Worldwide. A percentage from the sale of Greanwold products goes to the foundation where it is dispensed to children’s projects most in need, mainly missions that have no financial support from agencies, charities or governments. An example is www.baandada.org, an orphanage for boys and girls in Thailand on the Thailand / Myanmar border.
