Child Tax Credit Eligibility
You may eligible for a Child Tax Credit if you have a qualifying child under the age of 17.
In order to receive this credit you must claim as a dependent your qualifying child, an adopted child, a stepchild or an eligible foster child.
The child tax credit is subject to phase out for taxpayers with adjusted gross income more than $110,000 per family, filing a joint return. The maximum amount of adjusted gross income for singles is $75,000.
