FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Houston, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 28, 2011 -- Back in 2008, 13 local Taqueria Arandas owners were charged with filing false income tax returns with the IRS. With all the locations that were included, this deprived the federal government of over $4 million in both income and employment taxes. In early February of 2011, two of the owners were sentenced to federal prison time for lying on their tax return and will still be responsible for the money owed. Don’t let your problem get to this point, settle your IRS tax problem now by contacting us today at (713)774-4467.

Luis Antonio Sanchez, out of the Baytown, will be serving 18 months in prison for under reporting the restaurants business from 2001-2006. In total, the IRS estimated the amount the he didn’t include to equal almost $2 million. With that being calculated, he was ordered to pay nearly $400,000.00 back to the IRS.

Anibal Claros, owner of two of the Taqueris Arandas locations in Houston was sentenced to 12 months and a day in prison for the same kind of accusation. It was estimated that he under-reported the total earnings for his locations by almost $6 million dollars. Prior to the actual sentencing, Mr. Claros was able to pay the IRS in the amount of $690,807.00. The original underpaid amount of his tax was only $280,000, so we can see how penalties and interest can accumulate in a large way. Had he filed properly and was just unable to pay the total, he should have contacted Joe Mastriano for help.

With all 13 restaurant owners, the IRS has collected over $5.6 million in back taxes, penalties and interest. This is far from being over for all these local small business owners. Thanks to their actions, they can almost guarantee to be audited and scrutinized for a long time to come.
