Kiwi Website Helps Homeowners to Reny Houses to Rugby World Cup Visitors

April 26, 2010

Two guys from Mt Eden have created the rugby world cup accommodation website StayInNZ.com to help Kiwis rent their homes to Rugby World Cup visitors.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 26, 2010 -- When Hugh and Hamish tried to rent their houses to rugby world cup visitors, they couldn’t find a good site to list them on, so they created StayInNZ.com as a rugby world cup house rental platform.

Director Hugh Calveley says: ‘Being more of a TV Rugby fan, it just made sense to rent out my unit opposite Eden Park. When I couldn’t find a rugby world cup accommodation website to list my home on, I talked to my friend Hamish, and we made our own!’

Partner Hamish says: ‘It was really important to us that StayInNZ.com made it easy for rugby visitors to find rugby world cup accommodation by games rather than by geography; which is why a key feature of our website – the ‘Find accommodation by rugby game’ search functionality.

With a massive rugby world cup accommodation shortage expected for the 2011 World Cup, Stay In NZ will help make up the shortfall by enabling local home owners to rent their houses, rooms or even house swap with rugby visitors.

‘Imagine watching the 2011 World Cup from the South of France!’ Hugh adds.

It’s an easy site to use, for both the rugby world cup visitors and home owners who want to list rugby world cup rentals. Using the comprehensive search function, a visitor can hone in on rugby world cup rentals near to the game(s) they want. It takes less than 10 minutes for a homeowner to register and have their house on display to rugby fans from around world.

Having just launched two weeks ago, Stay In NZ are amazed at the response:

‘We’re finding that there is some amazing rugby world cup accommodation becoming available and not just in the main centres. This could work really well for Rugby World Cup visitors wanting to have a holiday in NZ around the 2011 World Cup.’
