The Renault RE30 was a System One auto developed by Michel Tétu and Gérard Larrousse for use by the Renault team in the 1981 Formulation One season. It was an entirely different design from its predecessor, the RE20. It incorporated carbon fibre into parts of its construction, a material which was becoming more and more commonplace in F1 at the time. The turbocharged engine was developed further and produced around 540bhp, with twin K series turbocharger . Renault was joined by Ferrari in developing turbo engines for their cars, with the Ferrari 126 C. The vehicle had advanced ground effect technology, with concessions given to the new rules which banned sliding skirts. Renault replaced Jean-Pierre Jabouille with promising young Alain Prost to partner René Arnoux for the season. After a slow begin to the year, in which Prost gained one podium finish, he broke his duck with a win at the French Grand Prix in changeable weather, and followed up with wins at Zandvoort and Monza, which gave him an outside chance at the world championship. Unreliability cost him his chance, but he finished a respectable 4th in the final standings. Arnoux had a fairly unlucky season and bore the brunt of most of the mechanical trouble that affected the RE30's development, most of which was done by Prost. The RE30 didn't suit Arnoux's aggressive driving style as opposed to Prost's smooth driving style which may have caused some of the problems with his vehicle.

The Porsche 911 GT2 is a sports auto built by the German manufacturer Porsche since 1994. It is based on the 911 Turbo, and uses a similar twin-turbocharged engine, but features quite a few upgrades, including engine upgrades, larger brakes, and stiffer suspension calibration. The GT2 is significantly lighter than the Turbo due to its use of rear-wheel drive instead of all-wheel drive, and the lightening or removal of interior components.

From 1986 to 1989 Ferrari also produced a special home market 328 that could negate the tax concessions imposed on cars with a displacement of over 2-litres. Designated GTB Turbo and GTS Turbo, the most fundamental changes were focused around a new engine. Displacement was 1991 cc with a bore and stroke of 66.8 mm (2.6 in) x 71 mm (2.8 in), output peaking with 254 bhp (189 kW; 258 PS) at 6500 rpm. Whereas 208 Turbo's had used KKK turbochargers , these new 328-based cars used an IHI unit running at 1.05 bars (15.2 psi) of enhance.Top speed was 157 mph (253 km/h) and 0-60 took less than 6 seconds. The only visual differences between these two-litre Turbo's and regular 328's were their NACA ducts positioned just in front of each rear wheelarch, redesigned engine covers (in order to accommodate the Behr intercooler) and a ventilated rear bumper.

So we say kkk turbocharger isn't only for sports, several professional racing also set up it.
