Minneapolis, MN, (October 19, 2010) — When August D. Kleinman opened Kleinman Realty Co. (http://www.kleinmanrealty.com), a small property management firm based in Minneapolis, in the 1930s, it steadily grew into a company that has thrived through three generations of Kleinmans, the Great Depression and the current recession. According to R. J. “Buzz” Kleinman, Jr., grandson of August and current chairman of the board, this longevity is attributed to the company’s high ethical standards and an unwavering commitment to the rental community—values that were instilled from the very beginning by August.

The business was passed down to Robert J. Kleinman, son of August, in the 1940s, and then to R. J. “Buzz” Kleinman, Jr. in the 1970s. Through the years, the Kleinmans continued to uphold the company’s values while earning professional designations, including the Accredited Management Organization® (AMO) of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
