Zolatone Music announces the release of 7-track EP of toe-tapping club tracks, Electro Dance.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 8, 2011 --
Vancouver B.C. (Wednesday, September 7th, 2011) - Though some may argue that clubs have eaten the savage spirit of raves long ago, and that you complain about hearing Pitbull on the radio, then in the club and then on someone's cellphone (i think it's the saturation, rather than the talent) we find ourselves presented with a 7 Track EP of electronica and club tracks from Zolatone Music.
Definitely on an old-school tip, this release features 4 tracks by a mysterious Dj Psilon, an equally enigmatic Nikki Caress and a gem of an '93 club track from Sweden's Next Generation.
The Dj Psilon tracks range from some spoken word break-beat, "Hello" and "Sunset" to a darker electro-themed "Sanctum Phantasm" to a trance-banger sounding vaguely like something from Harthouse ("Brother 9"). Nikki Caress offers two tracks - the thumping house anthem "More More More" and it's tek-house remix. Starting off the disc at 132 BPM is the 'lost-but-not-forgotten' "You Control Me" by Next Generation - originally released in the very ravy year of 1993.
Samples of the 7 tracks are available through Zolatone's website.
All of the tracks explore different aspects of the history of club-rave culture; a culture that was living the 21st Century early and this 7-track is no exception - the message: the future is your mirror of the real.
Electro Dance is available through Zolatone Music at zolatonemusic.com
