Kody Dixon, Erin Dixon, Daniel Ice –

Morse Investigation Services, on behalf of the Dixon Family, would like to thank the media, volunteers, and law enforcement for the efforts made in the recovery of Kody and Erin Dixon and the capture of Daniel Ice. Kody and Erin are in Virginia and have been reunited with their family. Kody is in very good health and is glad to be home again. Erin thanked Mr. Morse for his efforts. She was glad to be back home as well, and has begun counseling to help put the last few months into perspective and focus on moving forward. Daniel Ice has waived extradition and will be back in Virginia to face his crimes shortly. This is a difficult time for the family and emotions are high. John Morse, of Morse Investigation Services, had the chance to meet with the family yesterday. Words cannot describe how great it felt to see Kody playing and Erin smiling. The family would like to draw attention to the many other unsolved cases in Virginia. One case that is particularly important to Morse Investigation Services is the Colonial Parkway Murders. Although the Colonial Parkway Murders are now approaching 30 years unsolved, it is important to make people aware that the families are still searching for answers and seeking closure. Danny and Darlene Dixon, along with John Morse, are asking the media to refocus its attention toward the Colonial Parkway Murders in an effort to bring in any new leads, tips, volunteers, etc. that may help bring the families of the Colonial Parkway Murder victims the same closure that has been achieved in this case. Any person or organization that would like to volunteer, donate, or provide a tip on the Colonial Parkway Murders, or any other unsolved case in Virginia, is urged to visit www.morsepi.com for more information.
It is important to note that everyone’s efforts helped bring this case to a successful closure. The lesson to be learned is here is never give up hope.
