A focal point of Wardance Apparel's Fashion and Runway Show event, March 12, 2011, held at Wardance Training Center, were the fashion looks themselves; deservedly so. While showcasing designers' hottest new looks as they are debuted for the first time to the general public, guests should never be distracted by uneven or unkempt skin tone. A Kona Tan delivers radiance and understated displays for designers to feature their looks in a live setting. Traditional challenges associated with uneven skin tone in photos can be touched up or airbrushed prior to being published. However, live fashion shows feature models in all their glory - flaws and all - without any second chances for repairs. Kona Tanning produces a flawless base tan using Kona Tanning's House Blend tanning solution, and utilize their own famous Kona Tanning Gradual Tanner as a highlighting body makeup tint. Directed and produced by Natalie Brewster, fashion designers from the US and throughout Brazil were represented in The Wardance Apparel Fashion Show, featuring Brazilian looks from boutique Spot On Gear and Bia Brazil, Polynesian Tribal Jewelry by Domina, Wardance Apparel, Coobies Sports Bras, Rastaclat Bracelets, Neon Tetra Swimwear by Skin Flick Fashions, Ryan Phillip Mens Sportswear, and jewels were provided by Belina Jewelry Boutique. The evening was hosted by Emcee and comedian Damien HD, with makeup artistry by key makeup artist Lettie Mix and assistant Desiree Foote, and hair looks designed by Miya Taylor. Gift bags were sponsored by La Bella hair and skin care products, and additional gift bag contributions by Jagermeister. Special thanks to guest runway models Big Will Robertson of Wardance, and Domina "Mama D" Kellogg for closing the show with tribal fitness looks and dancing.
