Belton, MO, Missouri, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 15, 2011 -- Kuecker Logistics Group sells automated manifest print/inserters that increase throughput and reduce manpower for a companies packing area. Recently, KLG implemented a new Integrated Distribution Center System for a client who is an apparel retailer. This new system allows our client to service their 450+ stores. The new Distribution Center includes an automated pack area with fully automated manifest print/insert, automated print/apply, semi-automatic void fill and tape as well as an in motion weigh scale.

The clients’ packing area in their old distribution center - typically required 2-3 operators per line to scan the carton, print and manually insert the manifest, print and manually apply the shipping label, and void fill. The new pack lines require a maximum of one person per line, and if volumes are lower, one person can service multiple lines. The savings in man power helps to justify the new equipment. In this application, the manifest print feeders can handle up to 30 cartons per minute.
